Can I extend the session on the day of?
Do I have to order prints through you?
Do I have to bring my own outfit(s)?
I'm nervous, can I bring a friend?
Our sessions are a set length that we have found works best for a balance between getting enough images and variaty, and not tiring you out too much. If you are interested in a longer session, we do have special bonuses available to people who sign up for our pre-payment plans, and some of those will give you extra studio time.
Our prints and products are the highest quality, and not available with do-it-yourself printers. If you order photos or packages that come with high-resolution digitals, you will be able to print them yourself should you wish to.
Yes, while I do have some props and smaller items around the studio, unless we have otherwise communicated you will need to bring your own outfits. If you have signed up for an Intimate Portrait Experience, you will receive a guide on what to bring, and some ideas about my favorite places to buy from.
Yes, a friend can be a wonderful idea at any kind of shoot. It's important when picking who you bring along that you pick someone who will cheer you on and build you up, and also someone who will stay out of the way. If you and a friend want to book an Intimate Portrait Experience back to back, you could even be there to cheer each other on the whole way.
Due to COVID-19 Restrictions, please check in with the Studio before bringing someone along.
First, we'll chat about your goals, your reason for doing this, and the purpose of the images that we'll make together. Once we have that, I can help guide you through the process of visualizing and developing a shoot tailored to you and to your goals.
Maybe it's a studio shoot with lights and props and a full set of flowers and seven outfit changes. Maybe it's as simple as getting naked in the woods. Maybe it's a more traditional "boudoir" setting, in a home or bedroom. Maybe it’s my studio or the outdoor clawfoot tub set that I’ve constructed. The possibilities are endless.
Then we'll create a collaborative Pinterest board to set the mood and get ideas. On the day of the shoot we'll take the time we need to in order to make sure you're as absolutely comfortable as you can be before we start. We'll sit down and talk, we'll open up to each other and help you relax. This is all about you, and I'm here to make the experience a special one.
